Quality Hand Crafted barrels & clocks – Each barrel, is individually hand crafted from American white Oak using traditional methods. Our craftsmen take great care to retain the Authenticity and Characteristics of the Oakwood. As a result no two barrels are the same. Select from one of 3 band options, the “Black Rustic Steel” option provides an authentic rustic patina with light grains of rust and aged markings. The “Galvanized Steel” band option is an authentic steel colour without patina, and the ‘Brass” band option provides that ornamental decorative look.

Fastidious attention and care is paid with each barrel engraving using our state of the art in house laser engraving technology, however every piece of Oak is unique therefore the darkness of the engraving is authentically uncontrollable.

Aroma – Flavour – Colour

Ageing a wine or liquor in our barrels has the effect of transmitting the taste of charred white oak into your beverage. Each barrel is medium charred on the inside to impart oak flavours, aromas & colouring into your wine or liquor. For best results, store in a humid place where it is not exposed to sunlight or heat. The time required to age your beverage depends on your personal taste. This can be anywhere from a few months to three years.

Traditional methods

Not all Oak barrels are made equal. Our barrels are hand crafted using traditional methods, and will seal naturally by filling the barrel with water, water-logging each wooden stave and expanding them into the metal rings until all wooden joints are closed. Char staining and Patina will occur which is an unavoidable and authentic characteristic produced as a result of the sealing process. Our Barrels do not contain bladders, wax, paint or glue on the inside.
